The Legacy Lives On - Five Generations of Quilters

Great-grandmother Grandmother Mother Mary Anne Daughters

During this presentation, you will be entertained with the quilting legacy that is in Mary Anne’s family.  She will share a little about the lives of the quilters who came before her and will explain how she is passing on the love of quilting to her daughters and granddaughter.  During the presentation, she will show five generations of quilts that she has in her home.  Also, she will talk about her discovery of how you can do more than just put sashings between blocks.  Mary Anne will bring more than 20 quilts to exhibit during the trunk show portion of the presentation.

Needle and Thread Approach
to the Folded Hexagon

(Hands on demo)

During this lecture, each person will be supplied with a pre-cut hexagon to fold as the demonstration is illustrated during a power point presentation.  Actual samples of each step will also be available for review.  Participants should bring a sewing kit.

These hexagons could be used to make the Folded Hexabags™.  These and additional folded fabric projects will be displayed at the presentation.
